LAX/Metro Transit Center Station

Metro’s plan for better transit includes connecting Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with the Airport Metro Connector (AMC) at Aviation Bl/96th Street, allowing transfers between LAX and Metro’s network. Located on the Metro K Line, the AMC includes a bus plaza, bicycle hub, customer service center and pick-up/drop-off area.

Forecasted Opening: This station is expected to open for service in early 2025.

Metro’s transit improvement plan includes a direct connection to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) via the future LAX/Metro Transit Center Station at Aviation Blvd and 96th Street. This station will provide convenient and seamless transfers between LAX and Metro’s network. The LAX/Metro Transit Center Station, located on the Metro K Line, will feature a light rail station, bus plaza, bicycle parking, customer service center, passenger pick-up/drop-off area, and a direct connection to the future LAX Automated People Mover (APM), offering multiple travel options for airport passengers and employees. Once operational, the station will ensure quick and easy transfers between LAX and Metro’s extensive transit network.
