Your experience traveling on Vermont Avenue matters to us. Metro is hosting three community meetings to discuss upcoming improvements focused on making your bus trips faster, more reliable, and more frequent while serving the needs of our communities for generations to come.

Learn about the exciting short-, medium- and long-term changes to transit service along Vermont Avenue that Metro plans to introduce as early as next year.
What We’re Planning:
– Faster Trips: Dedicated bus lanes and transit signal priority to help get you where you’re going quickly.
– More Reliable Service: These improvements will reduce delays and ensure consistent arrival times.
– Safer Streets: By separating buses from traffic and adding improved traffic signal lighting, we’ll prioritize the safety of riders and pedestrians.
Community Meeting Details:
We will host three community meetings; please choose the most convenient session for you. Light refreshments will be served. We encourage you to “Go Metro” to attend workshops. Use the Metro Transit app to plan your trip.
