Overview
Metro’s plan for less congestion includes improvements to eastbound SR-91 between Atlantic Avenue and Cherry Avenue. As part of the I-605 Hot Spots Program, this project adds an eastbound auxiliary lane between the I-710 Freeway/ Atlantic Av on-ramp and the Cherry Avenue off-ramp. This project will enhance safety, reduce traffic congestion, and improve freeway operations on the EB SR-91 mainline, ramps, and the I-710/SR-91 interchange. Construction of the $174.187 million project is planned from 2024 through 2028.
