How GoPass Works
Pick up a GoPass TAP card from your participating school.
Activate your new GoPass online or by calling 866.TAPTOGO.
Wait 1 hour for your registration to be processed, and then tap your card on a rail gate, rail validator, bus farebox, bus mobile validator, or at any TAP Vending Machine within 21 days to complete activation of your new pass.
Ride on Metro and participating partner agencies for free through September 30, 2025.
Take a photo of the back of your GoPass TAP card in case it is lost or stolen. You can contact your school administration for a replacement card, and then visit taptogo.net/gopass to activate the new card.

Grand Central Market (GCM)
GoPass students can show their valid TAP card at the Grand Central Market Info Booth from Monday through Friday through December 31, 2024 to receive $5 in GCM Dollars! Limit of one $5 voucher per person.
Pershing Square and Downtown Santa Monica Ice Rinks
Students with a valid GoPass card can get $5 off ice skating at the Pershing Square and Downtown Santa Monica Ice Rinks. Offer is valid December 12-20 and January 6-12. Promo code is the last 4 digits of the students GoPass card number.
TeenTix
Any 13-19 year old can sign up for a free TeenTix pass! The pass entitles teens to purchase $5 day-of-show tickets at any TeenTix partner organization in the Los Angeles area. Learn more at LA.TeenTix.org.
