Go Metro to the 2025 Rose Parade, Rose Bowl game, Floatfest and Bandfest
The Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game return to Pasadena on Wednesday, January 1st. If you want to skip the traffic and parking hassles, take the Metro A Line to get to the game and parade events. See below for details.
Getting to the Rose Parade
Connect to the Metro A Line towards Azusa to go to the 2025 Rose Parade. The A Line stations closest to the Rose Parade route are:
- Del Mar Station (walk .3 miles north to the parade route on Colorado Boulevard)
- Memorial Park Station (walk .2 miles south to parade route on Colorado Blvd.)
- Lake Station (walk .4 miles south to parade route on Colorado Blvd.)
- Allen Station (walk .4 miles south to parade route on Colorado Blvd.)

There is parking available at many Metro Rail stations. Some lots are paid, some are free — be sure to check here before arriving at the station.
Metrolink
Metrolink is offering special trains on the Ventura County, Orange County and 91/Perris Valley lines. In addition, the first trains on the San Bernardino and Antelope Valley lines will operate on a modified schedule, departing an hour earlier to accommodate passengers traveling to the Rose Parade.
Getting to the Rose Bowl Game
Take the A Line to Memorial Park Station in Pasadena; then it’s just a short walk to Parsons Parking Lot B for the free bus shuttle that drops you off next to the stadium. The shuttle service begins at 10 a.m. on Jan. 1 and runs until two hours after the game.
It’s also possible to walk to the stadium from the A Line’s Memorial Park Station. It’s about 1.5 to 2 miles each way (depending on which gate you enter the stadium) and downhill to the stadium and uphill on the way back.
Game day parking at the Parson’s lot is $60.
Getting to Floatfest
Floatfest takes place after the parade — it’s a chance to see the floats closeup. Floatfest this year is on the afternoon of January 1 and all day on January 2 and January 3.
Metro is running shuttles between the A Line’s Sierra Madre Villa Station and Floatfest. Floatfest shuttles will run every 10 minutes, starting on January 1 from 12:30pm – 5:30pm and January 2-January 3, from 6:30am to 5:30pm. Regular fares apply for the shuttle, unless transferring from the Metro A Line or Metro Bus Lines serving Sierra Made Villa Station.
Getting to Bandfest
Each year, the marching bands chosen for the Rose Parade also perform at Bandfest. Bandfest 1 begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 29. Bandfest 2 begins at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 30. Bandfest 3 begins at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 30.
